Anybody can launch an ad campaign. Maybe not right off the bat, with a few moans and groans, but they’ll get there in the end. But how can you check whether your ad campaign is performing well? Maybe you need to make some changes, edit a few settings? Or maybe shutting down the current campaign and creating a new one from scratch would be easier and cheaper? Special tools called affiliate tracking platform(or trackers) are here to let you evaluate the effectiveness of your ads and calculate the ROI (Return On Investment) rate.

Ad Trackers — what are they and what are they for?

Ad trackers or tracking tools are particular services that let you get detailed info about your traffic. Having correctly structured data makes it possible to not only evaluate how well the ad campaigns you’ve already launched are performing but also simplifies the testing of new ones.

Of course, at first, you can do without them. If you only work with 1-2 offers, you can easily manually process all incoming info. But as soon as that number starts to go up, data analysis from several sources turns into quite a complicated task. This is when trackers come in: all the information is sent to a single service and displayed on a single screen. This lets you process it faster and, therefore, make decisions on what to do next quicker.

What are the main features of affiliate tracking tools?

It varies from service to service, yet there’s a set of essential functions all trackers have:

  • a set of tools for tracking traffic volumes in real-time;

  • the ability to separate sources for further stream analysis;

  • Integration with partner ad setup tools;

  • automatic calculation of financial costs and revenue, ROI estimation.

Such services are not free. The cost of their use depends on the expected traffic volumes and the number of available features. For example, RedTrack’s cheapest plan with basic features and no limits regarding campaigns will cost $49 a month. A fair price for a tool that will save you a lot of time and enable you to make more money on affiliate marketing.

What’s RedTrack, and what are its advantages?

In total, there are around 10 large affiliate program trackers. But not all of them provide detailed reports on campaigns, work with multi-level filters or event systems or do, but only if you purchase the premium corporate package. Other factors to consider when choosing a tracker — how user-friendly the interface is, how easy it is to switch to this particular tracker and the prices, of course.

What are the advantages of RedTrack?

  • A flexible TDS system can set up more than 30 metrics (offer statistics, landing page, connection type, IP address, device type, etc.). This allows you to distribute traffic flows to show users relevant ads, which naturally increases conversion.

  • The ability to quickly connect a data set. Many large partner networks, including Cpamatica, have already been integrated into RedTrack in such a way to make it possible to get the parameters you need in one click when setting up your campaign.

  • Tracking mistakes. If an offer was set incorrect, the service would let you know.

  • A user-friendly design. This factor is important when switching from another tracker or when this is your first one. RedTrack is easy to learn thanks to a thought-through navigation system, where you can get the hang of it in a matter of days.

However, this is far from the complete list of the service’s features. Therefore, we recommend you test it personally using our 14 days free trial period. After that, Cpamatica partners will get a special promo code from their manager for a 50% discount on the first month of using the tracker.

How to add an offer from Cpamatica to RedTrack?

First, you need to open both services in a browser, in different tabs. Let’s go through the process step by step:

Step 1

In RedTrack, create a new offer source, find Cpamatica in the list of options and click “Add”. All the parameters will be added automatically. In the tab that pops up, you need to copy the Postback URL — the link to the resource through which the affiliate network will send you data.

Step 2

Transfer the copied link to the Cpamatica profile into the “Postback Link” field.

Find the “Conversion tracking” section and add a new postback link by clicking “Create”. In the ”Offers” field you need to select the offers, the information on which you want to be sent to RedTrack. If the postback is global, then in “Offers” choose “All”. After you’ve entered the postback (the “Postback Link” field), you need to select a status, the “Lead Status” field - “Approved”.

Step 3

Next, copy the link that leads to the offer. Then, go back to the tab with RedTrack. Here you need to add the offer.

If you haven’t yet activated the offer you want to work with, ask our manager in Cpamatica to confirm the activation request.

After activating the offer, you need to copy the offer link. Select the landing page and click “Get Link” below the offer profile.

Step 4

Go back to Redtrack. Open the “Offers” tab, click “Create”, and fill out the fields in the form that pops up. Don’t forget to specify Cpamatica as the offer source; moreover, you should paste click_id={clickid} and the end of the link (the “URL” field). After activating the offer, you need to copy the offer link. Next, select the landing page and click “Get Link” below the offer profile.

Now your Cpamatica offer has been added to the tracker, and you can move on to driving traffic to it. Go to Redtrack Academy to study in detail how to set up traffic sources (Google, Facebook).

Cpamatica provides its partners with numerous offers for such traffic sources as review sites, Facebook, UAC, push notifications, teasers, and others. We also have our products in the dating niche: JuliaDates, Lovamour, PrivetSecret, as well as the While labels in the Adult games niche, which allows you to work with these offices under exclusive conditions.
